Akureyri Museum

The museum is in the oldest part of town. It’s surrounded by a beautiful garden featuring a 19th-century church, with Nonni’s House and the Akureyri Toy Museum just a few steps away. All exhibitions are family friendly, with information and entertainment for visitors of all ages, giving an insight to the local community’s past and present through objects and photographs.

An Akureyri Museum 24-hour pass also includes entrance to Nonni’s House, Akureyri Toy Museum, Davíð’s House and Laufás Heritage site.
