The Icelandic Aviation Museum

The museum serves the purpose of preserving and displaying items related to aviation in Iceland, its history and development in different categories, from the first fumbling attempts at commercial aviation in 1919 to the different airlines, some of which still exist, to medical transports and the Icelandic coast guard. It includes 28 full-sized aircraft including airplanes and helicopters, as well as a collection of photographs related to aviation history and other historically significant items.
